"Because you are the one who knocked!"
METHOPOLY is like playing any Monopoly game, but with locations from the first 5 (1/2) seasons of BREAKING BAD. The "Chance" cards have been replaced with "Bell Cards" and "Community Chest" cards with "Heisenberg Cards".
You can use regular Monopoly money, houses and hotels from any Monopoly game. You can also buy Monopoly money, houses and hotels on EBAY.
STEP 1: Download the image files. Click on the "FILES" page, open and save the files. The METHOPOLY board is BIG and comes in one piece. It is 20" x 20" and 8 MB. There are seven pages for the cards and property deeds. All the files except for the board is designed to fit on 8.5 x 11 paper. You do not have to make size alterations when you print them out.
STEP 2: Printing the board. The METHOPOLY board will need to be printed at a printer, unless you can print a 20' x 20" sheet. I sent the file to UPrinting.com and they did a terrific job. I had it printed two ways. A 20" x 20" Mounted Poster on PVC board and a 20" x 20" High Gloss Print. Both came out fantastic. If you make a print, you will have to glue onto a PVC board or try an old Monopoly board, as long as it is 20" x 20". The high gloss print is considerably less expensive but looks great.
STEP 3: Printing the cards. You can use a home printer or take to a Staples to print. Print out on 110 lb. white card stock which makes them a lot more durable. I also printed out on Staples Photo Supreme Paper (Matte) and they look great. If you are like me, cutting the cards straight and even will be a challenge. Using a paper cutter helps a lot.
STEP 4: Adding the pieces. Collecting little Breaking Bad pieces is a lot of fun and I'm still doing it. Here are some of my pieces. You can make your own with Sculpy, search on ETSY, dollhouse sites, etc. My favorite piece is the chunk of Blue Meth (rock candy). And I'm still looking for a miniature copy of Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass and a miniature tiara!
